THIS MORNING, IRISH kids, tweens and teens are returning to school.
And as everyone knows, there’s no Sunday fear quite like the fear one experiences before the first Monday of the school year.
Instead of letting kids enjoy their last remaining moments of freedom, however, Met Éireann’s Evelyn Cusack decided to remind everyone that summer is over and fun is all but a distant memory.
Yes, after noting that kids were returning to school today, Cusack ended her weather forecast on this cheery note.
“Work hard!”
Thanks a bunch, Evelyn. You’ve just made that feeling in the pit of our stomach even worse.
